UnConference

An UnConference is a concept created by Dave Winer, based on the premise that the sum total of knowledge in the audience at any given conference is much greater than that of the people on stage. UnConferences are typically free or low cost, and urge conference attendees to become participants by presenting sessions of their own and contributing to the community their own expertise.
